The Activetrail Email Marketing API

The Activetrail API is designed to allow you to use the Activetrail system without having to access it manually via the web. Instead, you can connect your existing system to the Activetrail system.

The Activetrail API consists of four main services (described below) and makes integration quick, easy and seamless.

The Customers Service

The Customers Service provides an interface for operations related to customers and customer subscriptions management.

This service will allow you to:

Edit customer information
Retrieve customer information
Add and remove customers from groups and mailing lists

The Messaging Service

The Messaging Service provides an interface for operations related to campaigns and transactional messages.

This service will allow you to:

Create, schedule and send campaigns
Send transactional messages
Retrieve campaign information

The Reports Service

The Reports Service provides an interface for operations related to reports and statistics.

This service will allow you to:

Query raw statistics data
Query summarized statistics data
Retrieve statistics including impressions, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes etc.
Check if a group exists

The Users Service

The Users Service provides an interface for operations related to account settings and management.

This service will allow you to:

Edit user groups
Edit mailing lists
Retrieve groups and mailing lists
Check if a group exists
